Dorgali Social Winery
The Dorgali Winery, for over 60 years, has been one of the most important realities in the Sardinian wine scene. Located in the heart of the Cannonau Classica zone, it produces wines that celebrate the culture, history, and traditions of this land. Not much has changed over the years: even today, the families of Dorgali own small vineyards and pass down from generation to generation the passion and dedication for vine cultivation, with the same spirit as in the past. The unique combination of our territory, with particularly favorable soils and an ideal climate, alongside the experience of our winemakers, has made Dorgali and its Winery known well beyond local borders.
In 1953, some small grape growers in Dorgali decided to join forces to create the Dorgali Cooperative Winery. After a series of meetings between the residents, the Winery became a point of reference for the entire community, with all the local families who own vineyards being part of it. Since then, the number of members has grown, now reaching around 220 producers, also from surrounding areas. Together, we cultivate about 650 hectares of vineyards.
Thanks to our commitment and passion, the Dorgali Winery produces wines of the highest quality, with Cannonau being its finest expression. The numerous national and international awards testify to the quality of our products. The Dorgali Winery is undoubtedly the modern expression of a millennia-old winemaking tradition.
