Dog-Friendly Beaches

Dog on vacation in Cala Gonone: yes!

Since 2013, Cala Gonone has had a dog-friendly area, and since 2017, the local administration has further improved the offerings. Currently, there are three dog-friendly beaches: S'Abba Meica, a section at the beginning of Lungomare Palmasera, easily accessible, and a third one at Osalla in Dorgali, near the river of the same name. The latter is particularly appreciated as it allows dogs to swim both in the sea and in fresh water. Each area is easily recognizable and clearly marked. As with all beaches, it is recommended to keep the area clean and dispose of waste properly.
